I'm appalled and mixed in my opinion about a family's choice to send an adopted Russian boy back to Russia after displaying "Disturbing behaivor". However disturbing, our American culture constantly display's the mentality of the "It's broken? Chuck it!" mentality. On the other hand, reports came in stating the boy drew pictures of his adopted house on fire and said "He was going to burn the house down with everyone in it." I wouldn't know what to do. However, Russia states they're threatining to halt American adoptions because of this irresponsible action. The family said the boy had deep psychological problems, but why didn't they check the boy out before hand? What does that say about the adopting family if they were not keen enough to check the child out they were adopting in their family? Whatever you believe it's families like this that mess it up for the millions of Americans that want a child and find it difficult to adopt in the United States...
